Luxury brands are off to a great start this week and buzz is sparking up every where. On the luxury front the scene this week starting out early is sexy, rosy, and hot. Now that is a great combination and comeback for the luxury industry. Looks like all predictions for 2011 being the year of the luxury brand is right on point.

Luxury champagne brand Moët & Chandon scores big with Scarlett Johansson in their new sexy ad campaign. Likely the sexiest ad ever for a luxury champagne brand. Certainly Johansson has put her divorce from Ryan Reynolds behind her and will have no trouble finding a new love interest especially looking like she does in this luxury ad campaign.

The photos were shot by British photographer Tim Walker in Paris. Wow just in time for Valentine’s Day and a smart luxury PR move at best.

When it comes to profit earnings luxury brands are reporting things as looking rosy. Richemont owner of the luxury brands Cartier and Montblanc announced a very rosy increase in sales, driven by greater consumer demand from Asia. Richemont said its Q3 revenues had grown by one third to $2.8 billion!

For Burberry’s luxury coats and handbags things are rosy reporting a 27% rise in total revenue to £470m. Its stock jumped 4%, or 41p, to 1,100p on the results, which overshot an average City forecast of £434m in revenue.

The hottest ticket in town is Milan Menswear Fashion Week! All buzz is around luxury brands Bottega leather jeans, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Ermenegildo Zegna, and Prada. Tweets are flying but particularly fashion powerhouse and Italian trendsetter Prada is not engaging with Tweets. Although Prada show got tons of Tweets they are not on Twitter. What? Right no misprint Prada is yet to join Twitter.
