Okay, is it that time already to start talking about 2013 trends? Yes! The luxury PR buzz is that straight hot guys around the world will be attending men’s fashion shows and events. In the past we have only seen the straight guy attending very few red carpets with the exception of big name celebrities. By no means is this article meant to say ONLY for straight guys! The purpose is to inform and educate….
Now is the time for the unknown straight guy to become a luxury brand ambassador for luxury lifestyle. We can expect to see guys walking red carpet events for luxury brands. A race to the throne will be a manly cat fight with luxury PR reps and publicists fighting to land their guy in the limelight. More CEOs will be walking red carpets for luxury lifestyle brands. How about that for company brand awareness?
The biggest IT event for now is the menswear shows in London and Milan. Which has already started off with a manly fashion cat fight. The British Fashion Council has posted it’s schedule which will land right in the middle of the Pitti Immagine schedule. This means most of the buyers, models, bloggers, and show attendees will have to choose one or the other to go to making it a complete loss for both parties.
Our take on this is that we can’t wait to see who the American GUY version of Kim Kardashian will be. One word of advice please, please keep it classy gentleman.. So if you have hot CEOs and Execs you better start pitching them now. And, yes when asked “who are they wearing” will be very important.
