Hollywood elite want you to pay to see their movies and even buy the tons of merchandise that they stamp their names on as labels. So when the infamous Hollywood Burglars wanted to target only the young Hollywood elite should they also be considered fans and victims?
The Hollywood burglars are identified as Nicholas Prugo, 18, Rachel Lee, 18; Courtney Ames, 18; Alexis Neiers, 18; Diana Tamayo, 19; and Roy Lopez Jr, 27. While Prugo is accused of stealing more than $170,000 in jewelry and clothes and faces up to six years in prison if convicted. The others have not yet been formally charged.
It is reported that the burglars were motivated by “profit and celebrity worship.”
They are accursed of breaking into the homes of Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan and other Hollywood figures.
“They were rabid consumers of everything celebrity,” Los Angeles police officer Brett Goodkin told Reuters.
