Kimora Lee Simmons closes New York Fashion Week, celebrating 10 years for the Baby Phat brand. According to New York Post, the show started almost an hour late and was held until Andre Leon Talley from Vogue arrived. Front row friends included Maxwell, BFF Serena Williams, Djimon Hounsou and Aubrey O’Day.
Reported in the AP, “I love Kimora,” gushed Williams, who moonlights as a fashion designer for Aneres (her name spelled backward). “She’s a great person and I love her fashions,” said Serena Williams.
Williams also reveals she’s amazed by Simmons’ “whole persona.” The star of The Style Network reality series “Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane” has never been shy about her love for the good life and all things blingy.
New York Post, cites that the show launched with a puzzling start with safari-style dresses and pantsuits but quickly took a fabulous turn with grossly oversized “python” backpacks, super stretchy spandex cropped jumpsuits, two Pocahontas-style brown leather vests with dangling leather tassels and a gold cut – out monokini under a sheer pastel caftan.
Congrats to Kimora!
