Karthik Rajaram took his life and also the lives of family members as a result of financial troubles. According to the AP, Rajaram 45 was found dead with a gun in his hand by police officers who went to the home after his wife failed to show up at a neighbor’s house to go to work.
Besides Rajaram the dead include his 69-year-old mother-in-law, Indra Ramasesham, his 19-year-old son, Krishna Rajaram, two other sons, ages 12 and 7 and his 39-year-old wife.
With the financial crisis and credit crunch should we expect to see more tragedies like this?
