Looks like Simon Properties Group is upping the stakes on the fashion scene again. This time they are turning all eyes on their mall in Pittsburgh, Ross Park Mall! In the next three months some of the biggest names in luxury fashion will be tenants in the North Hills retail complex.
The half-dozen major designer stores will include Burberry, BCBG Max Azria, Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Juicy Couture, Kate Spade, Tiffany & Co. and True Religion Brand Jeans. Now that deserves a WOW!
For the region of Pittsburgh this will be a risk and test for survival. If they are successful others will follow; if they fail possibilities they may not ever have a chance for this kind of opportunity again.
The one thing I feel that they must do is to connect with the community and let their audiences know that community support will be needed to thrive. Make the community part of the success and launch.
