Vanity Fair selects Michelle Obama for her threads! Mrs. Obama was added to Vanity Fair’s International Best-dressed list for Women. Stressing that Obama made the list because “she’s our commander in sheath.”
Her notable ensembles of 2008: Maria Pinto purple sheath, with a black Azzedine Alaïa belt, worn when her husband claimed the Democratic presidential nomination; Donna Ricco black-and-white print dress on The View.
Mrs. McCain did not make the list this time and Obama’s second year in a row making the cut.
This is the 69th annual style poll; published in Vanity Fair for September 2008, available in stands now. Take a sneak peak at the entire list.
