Looks like Diddy did it again! This time he has been nominated for an Emmy at the upcoming 60th Primetime Emmy Awards for A Raisin in the Sun. Diddy, Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald all nominated in separate categories.The made-for-TV-movie debuted in February 2008, just four years after the Broadway revival of the play, which starred Diddy, Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, and Sanaa Lathan.
The cast also reappeared in the television adaptation. Phylicia Rashad and Audra McDonald are in the running for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, and Combs and his fellow producers are up for Outstanding Made for Television Movie.
The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards will air Sunday September 21, 2008, at 8/7c on ABC.
