Reported by Mark Silva (The Swap) and expressed to Entertainment Tonight by Gayle King (Oprah’s BFF). Ms. Winfrey is aware of her celebrity role and does not want to take anything away from Barack Obama when he accepts the Democratic presidential nomination in Denver.

King says Oprah will be seated with the expected audience of 75,000 people at Invesco Field during the presidential nomination night of Aug. 28th and we can expect no starring role by Oprah in the historic event.

Expressed by King, “Oprah has not been asked to introduce him, is not expecting to be asked to introduce him and I would doubt that she would want to introduce him,” and “She thinks this is his moment. I know that she is planning to be there.”

King plans to be at the Democratic conventions as well.
