Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills will blend legendary Hollywood glamour with the effortless luxury of the local lifestyle. Pierre-Yves Rochon Inc. (PYR) of Paris and Chicago has been hired to bring their internationally recognized luxury hospitality environments to California for the first time in over a decade. PYR is known for the interior designs of some of the most renowned luxury hotels in world. PYR’s signature style is in every detail of the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills’ guest experience. Richly upholstered furniture, custom Strass crystal chandeliers, lacquered sycamore millwork, Lalique installations as well as a significant curated art program throughout hotel, represent the apex of master craftsmanship and luxury that is paramount to the Waldorf Astoria brand.
To create a cohesive architectural design inside and out, Gensler and PYR, joined by their parent company Perkins+Will, co-designed the exterior of Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. Gensler, a leading global design firm with extensive experience in luxury hotels and world-class design is responsible for award-winning projects in distinguished cities like Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, New York and Shanghai. Curving white stone and intricate ornamentation signify the hotel’s clean, contemporary design which draws its inspiration from the rich history of California’s Streamlined Modern style. The Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills’ design with its elegant lines, smooth stone surfaces, polished metals and sleek glass will be a unique compliment and iconic addition to The Beverly Hilton’s mid-century architecture.
From arrival to departure, guests will not only be embraced by the hotel’s inspirational environments, but also welcomed by “True Waldorf Service.” A service initiative that assigns a personal concierge, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills’ Personal Concierges will ensure that each guest receives anticipatory and personalized service before, during and after their stay.
