While the name Burj Dubai is no more and the new name for the World’s tallest skyscraper was renamed Burj Khalifa actually Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed to be exact after the president of the United Arab Emirates.
At 2,717 feet Burj Khalifa is safely the world’s tallest skyscraper and opened today. This was certainly a smart branding strategy for name recognition and very marketable solution to build credibility.
“I now officially announce the opening of the Burj Khalifa Bin Zayed,” the ruler said at the opening ceremony of the tower that has been developed by Emaar Properties (EMAAR.DFM).
