I always say for those wanting to be discovered in pictures, Flickr is the best way to go! According to Stacy St. Clair, a Chicago Tribune reporter a four ears cat is the next hot Internet star to be discovered. The cat that goes by the name of Yoda is a smoke-colored feline whose ears appearance shows four ears.
Yoda has hit the celebrity talk big time; he has been mentioned on several high-profile web sites, even appearing on Dlisted, which is a popular gossip blog that often cover Paris Hilton and Britney Spears! According to his owners they have started to receive calls from “Good Morning America,” “Fox News” and “The Tyra Banks Show.”
“It’s amazing,” said Ted Rock, who owns Yoda with his wife, Valerie. “For the past few days, our phone has just been ringing off the hook.”
How Yoda Was Discovered:
Yoda’s path to Internet stardom began after his owners’ son, Glenn Olsen, posted the cat’s photo on Flickr, an image and video hosting site. The picture caught the attention of English photo agency Barcroft Media.
Not sure if there will be a press conference scheduled for Yoda or not. However, it appears that this Internet star just might be real this time.
