Country music singer Kenny Rogers has a passion for fixing up houses and putting them back on the market. A hobby he has completed many times and putting his Atlanta mansion on the market for $7.9 million will make this his 10th rehab.
Rogers, 69, and his wife, Wanda, plan to live full-time at their 150-acre country estate in Athens, Ga., where he put in a pond and is building a 3,000-square-foot ranch house, two guest bungalows and a barn. Although he still tours about one-third of the year, Rogers is thinking about retiring. “This may be my last year,” he says.
