We can’t always expect to see First Lady Michelle Obama wearing discounted gear! The luxury industry strongly needs endorsement support for those that can afford to buy and shop luxury to do so. Certainly, First Lady Michelle Obama has every right to wear a pair of Lanvin sneakers if she wants to.
For those out of touch, people at food banks don’t want the people serving and helping them looking like they are homeless. The shoes that Mrs. Obama selected to wear were very much appropriate for the occasion. The media is making a BIG mess out of nothing, luxury items will be worn by those that can afford them.
For the luxury industry this is a strong representation and it was much needed. This is the biggest fashion PR statement of the year.
