Kim Kardashian already has one of the biggest engagement rings around at 20.5 carats, but now she’s got a wedding registry to match.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star, 30, and her basketball fiancé, Kris Humphries, have registered at luxury boutique Geary’s for an eye-popping $172,000 worth of plates, vases, and flatware to fill out their home post-wedding.
Among the goodies they’ve asked friends and family to get from the Beverly Hills retailer are a $7,850 extra large Baccarat crystal vase, two $840 Havana ashtrays, also by Baccarat, and an antique ebony tray priced at $1,595.
The registry, confirmed to E! News by one of Kardashian’s reps, also includes 24 Hermes plates – at $305 a piece – and $38,400-worth of Torchon dinnerware by Buccellati.
The couple have also set their eyes on a $175 Baccarat mustard jar and five $150 L’Objet gold napkin rings with crystal.
But for guests looking to spend a little less on a gift for the big day, Kardashian and Humphries plan to register at a second, less-pricey retailer like homeware favorite Williams-Sonoma.
While savvy wedding watchers have already noticed the October 31 wedding date posted with the registry, a source close to the couple assures the bride-to-be hasn’t actually let it slip that she’s planning a Halloween ceremony.
“That’s just a joke,” the insider tells E! News. “They’re not announcing the real date just yet.”
Kardashian and Humphries began dating last December and announced their engagement in May.
