Fans have been eagerly awaiting the Jackson 5 Concert Tour which a reunion was announced in November 07 to happen in 2008. However, looks like the project will not happen because Michael has different plans.

According to New York Times, Michael Jackson has contradicted his brother Jermaine’s claim that he would be taking part in a reunion of the Jackson 5.
This week Jermaine Jackson said that the R&B family was preparing to assemble for a concert tour, including the superstar siblings Michael and Janet. But in a statement released by his spokesman, Michael Jackson said he would not be involved. “My brothers and sisters have my full love and support,” he said in the statement, “and we’ve certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon.”
