NOMI Beauty was founded by Nikki Robinson, a celebrity makeup artist, marketing strategist and Fortune 500 beauty innovator turned entrepreneur. When Robinson uncovered that the hotel market was being underserved by luxury salons despite the fact that female travelers want and need these services, she set out to create NOMI Beauty. Convinced that on-demand beauty could offer women their underlying desire for the luxury of more time, she and her co-founder built Lorelei, an artificial intelligence technology to match every appointment request with an available hair stylist or makeup artist.
By creating groundbreaking artificial intelligence to streamline the scheduling process, and a proprietary back end, NOMI Beauty has taken the business of beauty into the future – becoming the first on-demand beauty company to have an open API.
